Detroit based guitarist and recording artist Sammy Boller has built a career around pushing the boundaries of instrumental guitar. Hailed by Guitar World as “one of electric guitar’s most promising names,” Boller’s debut solo album, Kingdom Of The Sun, was released in March 2020 to critical acclaim, establishing him as a distinctive voice in modern instrumental rock.

In 2026, Sammy continues to expand his solo catalog with Midnight Garden, a new instrumental EP that explores a darker, more atmospheric side of his songwriting. Combining virtuosic guitar work with powerful melodies and aggressive tones, Midnight Garden represents the next chapter in Boller’s evolution as a solo artist.

Boller has cultivated a global audience of more than 750k followers across social media, where his performances, original compositions and guitar-driven content have made him a prominent voice in the online guitar community. His work has also earned him recognition from some of the biggest names and brands in the industry.

Beyond his solo career, Sammy has established himself as one of the most sought after guitarists in rock. He has performed and toured with artists including the Goo Goo Dolls, Scott Stapp of Creed, and Tesla, while also collaborating closely with renowned amplifier designer Dave Friedman of Friedman Amplification. Sammy regularly joins Friedman on U.S. and European clinic and gear-demo tours and is a contributing columnist for Guitar World.

Sammy is also a founding member of Detroit rock band Citizen Zero. Signed to Wind-up Records/Concord Music Group in 2016, the band released its acclaimed debut album State of Mind, featuring the single “Go (Let Me Save You),” which reached the Top 15 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. Citizen Zero reunited in 2025 and is currently working on new music.

At the center of everything, however, remains Boller’s solo work; a continually evolving body of instrumental music that brings together technical guitar mastery, emotion, atmosphere and sheer volume.
